The °®¶¹´«Ã½ Foundation offers a broad range of events from our annual Light on the Point gala to our spirited annual SeaWolves Athletics Golf Tournament. These events provide the opportunity to mingle with alumni, celebrate the College’s legacy and experience camaraderie, while contributing to °®¶¹´«Ã½’s bright future.

A Light on the Point
°®¶¹´«Ã½â€™s A Light on the Point is occasion to pay tribute to alumni, faculty, staff and the business community for contributions to °®¶¹´«Ã½ and beyond. This annual fundraising event supports student success—both in and out of the classroom. By sponsoring or attending the event, you will help provide scholarships, emergency assistance, and critical resources to ensure every student has access to the tools they need to thrive and complete their education.
Annual SeaWolves Athletics Golf Tournament
°®¶¹´«Ã½ Athletics, in partnership with the °®¶¹´«Ã½ Foundation and Seawolves Athletic Club, hosts an Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser every year. The event has most recently been held at the Purpoodock Golf club and made possible by the support of sponsors including sponsor titles sponsor Sodexo Dining Services and a dedicated community of alumni, partners, and supporters.
Annual Timothy D. Hagerman Alumni Event
This annual event honors Timothy Hagerman, a former °®¶¹´«Ã½ men’s basketball player who passed away from cancer and raises funds for the Timothy D. Hagerman Memorial Fund which provides scholarships and program support of the student athlete experience. The event is typically held event, at Bayside Bowl in South Portland and aims to reconnect alumni with former teammates and features a silent auction and cornhole tournament.
Annual SeaWolves Hall of Fame Event
The SeaWolves Athletics Hall of Fame was established in 2006 to recognize outstanding student-athletes, coaches, and contributors to °®¶¹´«Ã½ Athletics. The event is held annually and honors inductees who are chosen for their athletic achievements, contributions to the college community, and their embodiment of the SeaWolves’ values.
